Let’s be real for a second — we spend good money on seasonings, so why are we just tossing them in the cupboard like old receipts? Nah man, if we want our Garlic Jerk or Lemon Garlic Allspice to keep that same bold, belly-hugging flavor, we’ve got to treat them with care. Proper storage is key, and trust us — it makes all the difference. Here’s how we do it, the right and spicy way.


1. We Lock In the Goodness with Airtight Containers

Air is a thief. The minute we leave our spices exposed, they start to fade.
So, we always use airtight glass jars or solid containers — no flimsy plastic bags or popped bottle tops, please. Every time we seal that lid tight, we’re preserving the flavor and locking in the aroma that hits us right in the memory.


2. We Keep Them Cool, Dark, and Drama-Free

Now hear this — heat and light are not your seasoning’s friend. That pretty spice rack sitting next to the stove? Cute, but a big no-no. Heat makes the oils in our spices break down faster, and light steals the color and flavor. We store ours in a cool, dark cabinet — like little treasures waiting to shine in the pot.


3. We Use Dry Spoons, Every Time. No Exceptions.
